TITLE DEED

The procedure for registering real estate in Cyprus is quite different from that in other European countries. It takes place in two main steps: signing the purchase agreement and obtaining the Title Deed (the Certificate of Registration of Real Estate).

The Title Deed is an official state document proving property ownership in Cyprus. It is issued for all legitimately acquired properties and includes details such as the owner’s name, the property’s location and size, and its registration number with the Department of Land Resources. According to Cypriot law, once the contract is signed, the buyer has the right to own and use the property. However, the issuance of the Title Deed provides full legal protection, ensuring the property cannot be sold, mortgaged, or rented without the owner’s consent.

By working with Gadalla Homes, buyers are assured of a secure and transparent transaction:

  • All developments are constructed on freehold land.
  • Construction only begins after the necessary permits are in place.
  • The company guarantees the Certificate of Final Approval.

Securing the Title Deed is the most crucial stage of property registration and a key priority for any buyer in Cyprus. Gadalla Homes takes care of all the required formalities to guarantee a seamless and lawful transfer of ownership.
